Wine Over Water is Chattanooga's premier wine-tasting event, celebrating its 29th anniversary in 2024. As the primary fundraisers for Preserve Chattanooga, this much-loved event supports the preservation and advocacy of the city's architectural heritage. Guests can enjoy a broad variety of wines and wine cocktails, paired with delectable food tastings and live music, all while taking in the stunning views of the Tennessee River and the historic Walnut Street Bridge.
Best Cellars, a curated event for wine connoisseurs, offers a unique experience for attendees. Handpicked premium wine selections from participating wineries are paired with historic Chattanooga family recipes, creating a delightful culinary journey. With representatives from the wineries present to answer questions, guests can indulge in the finest wines while enjoying live music and the picturesque setting of the Hunter Museum of American Art's River Terrace.
