West Park definitely hits the nostalgia factor for me. My softball team played there when I was a preteen, and I absolutely was involved in loitering and PG-13 debauchery there in my teen years....

Looks like a great park to play ball or have a family picnic. There is a large water storage tank near the park painted with trees. The painted buildings pictured are very near the park. Go Easter...

A solid park with some decent trails. I imagine (and based on the other reviews am probably correct) the primary draw for West Park are the well cared for and spacious softball/kickball/etc....
