We opened in 1993, when we were young and too dumb to dumb to be afraid. Throughout the years, we've learned and grown and evolved, and will continue to do all of those things. We look forward to the ever changing face of our sweet little studio.

Underground Art, Inc. was established in 1993 as Memphis' first custom tattoo studio. We are a woman owned, left leaning, book loving, inclusive safe space that offers beautiful work in a safe, clean, lovely environment. We welcome guest tattooers from all over, which gives our clients a chance to be tattooed by folks who might otherwise be inaccessible. Pop over to our website or Instagram for upcoming guest dates. We offer a highly curated selection of CBD, Delta 8, HHC, (and more) products. They can be purchased online for curbside pickup or in the studio, during business hours. Must be 21 to purchase. We are also offering the waxing and brow tinting services of Amy Gregory. Amy has years of experience and is as gentle as she is professional. Book online through our website. We will soon be offering microblading and permanent cosmetic services, stay tuned! Consultations are necessary to book tattoo appointments, in most cases. We do not field questions online, please call the studio during business hours.
