Established in 1985, Toot Restaurants is one of the oldest full-service restaurants in Rutherford County, Tenn. The restaurant introduced Buffalo wings to the Middle Tennessee area. Its menu includes a variety of appetizers, wings, sides, seafood, shrimp and desserts. It offers a children's menu that includes grilled cheese sandwiches, shrimp, chicken fingers, burgers and fries and a selection of frozen fruit drinks. The restaurant additionally offers a variety of platters, including Toot s Chick-On-A-Stick, baby back ribs, French dip, catfish platters and smothered chopped steak platters. Apart from serving lunch and dinner, Toot Restaurants also supports various community organizations, such as the United Way of Rutherford County and the Habitat for Humanity. With a location in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the restaurant also conducts annual auctions and bowling competitions.
