Timothy H Krahn, MD

Dr. Murrell is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, and specializes in the field of orthopedic spine surgery treating disorders of the cervical thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr. Murrell incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to spine care. He uses his surgical expertise to craft a safe and effective plan for each patient. Many of his patients benefit from non-operative conservative care and less-invasive surgical approaches. When more complex surgery is required, he is skilled and experienced with complex spinal reconstruction. Dr. Murrel currently serves as the Governor's appointed medical representative to the Tennessee Worker's Compensation Advisory Council. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery Board of Councilors. Dr. Murrel is a past President of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society. A former varsity oarsman at Harvard, Dr. Murrell enjoys working with student athletes as team physician at St. Agnes and St. Dominic. Dr. Murrell also believes in the importance of giving back to his community and donates his surgical skills to the Church Health Center. He is a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Neel has been practicing for more than 24 years - treating adults and children with bone and soft tissue tumors as well as adults with hip and knee arthritis. He currently serves as chief for the Orthopaedic division at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dr. Neel lectures to national and international audiences on the management of skeletally immature patients with bone cancer, the use of oncologic prosthesis in adults with massive bone loss and the management of osteonecrosis.

Dr. Patterson is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in total hip and knee replacement as well as partial knee replacement and knee arthroscopy. He also specializes in hip replacements using a minimally-invasive, direct anterior approach. For knee replacement, Dr. Patterson uses a minimally-invasive, quadricep-sparing technique.
