The Tennergy Corporation

The Tennergy Corporation is a public non-profit corporation based in Tennessee. It was incorporated for the purpose of acquiring, producing, transmitting and otherwise dealing in natural gas, electric power and energy services to municipalities and other public utilities. In addition to energy supply services, the corporation also provides technical assistance and expertise in engineering design, construction management, technical studies and consulting in the operation and management of public utilities. The Tennergy Corporation provides gas supply acquisition and management, engineering, marketing and administrative services for nearly 30 public utilities located in Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky and Indiana. The Tennergy Corporation maintains corporate headquarters in Jackson, Tenn.
