The Opossum's Tale is Jonesborough's only public house, founded by Elena Gonzales and Anna Floyd, inspired by cozy British murder mysteries and the local community. The establishment pays homage to the Virginia Opossum, a symbol of Appalachia, and aims to create a welcoming space for gatherings, meals, and drinks.
In addition to offering a warm atmosphere for dining, The Opossum's Tale is a hub for sports enthusiasts, featuring Premier League soccer matches on multiple TVs. The pub is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community spirit, with a variety of events and activities planned throughout the year.
