After many friends and family members telling him that he should persue a field in cooking with possibly catering as the lead, he decided to do it after leaving 10 years of the US Army as a supply sergeant. The company's first gig in 2008 was catering for the Nashville International Airport Authority with their employee appreciation luncheon. This event was a great reward. Since then Chef Corey & his staff of C&K Catering has catered for the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards production for up to 1200 people within a 3 day time span.
