The Tennessee Department of Transportation s Region 2 Design Office is one of the locations of the Design Division, which generates aerial photographic mosaics, photogrammetric digital topographic maps and digital terrain modeling data for planning, design and earthwork projects. The division also develops and administers photogrammetry-related contracts. It establishes and maintains standards for photogrammetry products. The Design Division develops roadway design guidelines and instructional bulletins. In addition, the division s aerial surveys section manages a film library. It generates a drainage manual for the proper selection and design of erosion prevention and sediment control measures. The Tennessee Department of Transportation is administered by the state government of Tennessee.
