SoLit, formerly known as Southern Lit Alliance, is a literary arts hub in Chattanooga, TN, founded in 1952. Their mission is to inspire children and adults to be passionate readers and writers by delivering literary arts experiences that engage the community in a lifelong love of reading, writing, and community conversation.
Through programs such as literature festivals, writing workshops, book therapy groups, and outreach to underserved communities, SoLit reaches 5,000 children and adults each year, sharing stories that matter and promoting the power of literature to inspire, connect, and uplift.
