Southeastern Retina Associates

Founded in 1999, Southeastern Retina Associates, also known as SERA, was formed by a collaboration between the Retina Associates of East Tennessee and Retina Associates. The organization offers diagnostic, treatment and surgical solution for retina and vitreous diseases and disorders. It also participates in a selection of research studies. Southeastern Retina Associates manages operations in Knoxville and Chattanooga in Tennessee, as well as Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina. In addition, the organization offers examination solutions for patients. It accepts insurance plans from several organizations, including Medicare and Medicaid. Southeastern Retina Associates offers digital imaging and angiography solutions. The organization houses the Low Vision Center, which is a nonprofit entity.
