Siegel Middle School

Located in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Siegel Middle School serves more than 900 students in grades six through eight and is operated by the Rutherford County Schools. It offers a variety of academic courses, including art, English as a second language, music, physical education, language arts, math, social studies, foreign languages, reading and science. The middle school provides a wide variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, archery, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. It offers various extracurricular activities and student organizations, including beta, dance, book and pep clubs, the Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America, drama, journalism and yearbook. Additionally, the school s media center offers more than 20,000 volumes of print and nonprint materials, more than computers and subscriptions to over 20 periodicals.
