Readyville Mill, established around 1812 on the Stones River, has a rich history of operation as a grist mill and has served various agricultural and industrial purposes over the years. Now owned by Karen and Robert Ford, it operates as a unique visitor destination in Cannon County, complemented by the nearby Goodness Gracious Cafe.

Short Mountain Distillery, located on a 300-acre working farm, produces authentic small-batch Tennessee Moonshine Bourbon and other spirits, using corn that is grown and stone-milled on-site.
