Sam's Main Street Eatery

Walking around downtown and saw this place. Had a good review so gave it a try. If you're looking for upscale, this ain't it. But, I liked the diner atmosphere bc it's something you dont see much...

Stopped in for a quick bite got a pizza and a chicken parm. Pizza was cheese on top of cardboard.... Fried chicken tasted like it was already fried became wet and soggy and then fried again....

Food was great and cheap. I got fried chicken sandwich and it was very season and crispy. Amazing for the price

I really really hate giving a local spot less than 5 stars, but this place is just okay. First, it has the weirdest, off-putting smell. The food is bland, everything from a freezer, not seasoned...

I was in Memphis for over two weeks and frequented Sam's several times. The service was always great and food prepared to my liking. Every meal was made fresh to order and delicious!
