When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Boruff enjoys boating, traveling, wake surfing, tennis, and UT sports. “To be able to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with my patients and be there for them in their times of sickness, as well as be there to help motivate them to achieve better health…that’s what made me interested in being a primary care doctor.”

Dr. Andrew Goins a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 7 years of medical experience at Internal Medicine West in Knoxville, TN. He is a native of Knoxville. Dr. Goins says he was interested in primary care because it gives him the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with his patients and offers a broad range of diseases to treat. He says it’s a very rewarding medical specialty. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Goins enjoys spending time with his two daughters, biking, running, and gardening. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families and hope to provide compassionate and comprehensive care that prioritizes their well-being.”
