With more than 50 years of combined experience, Backfield in Motion are a team of trained professionals providing a positive atmosphere and environment for Nashville's aspiring young athletes. Backfield s programs include first-and-ten in the academic portion of which, fifth and sixth-grade boys receive tutoring in math and reading by metro schoolteachers. BIM s forth-and-one program helps seventh and eighth graders develop the skills required to become confident leaders. Its VIP program targets its program participants who exhibit a high degree of academic, athletic and leadership potential and exposes them to experiences that will facilitate their future success. It also provides summer programs that include the Extra Point Academy, college summer camp and the summer sports camp. Its athletic programs are provided free of cost and its sports leagues include fall football, winter basketball and spring baseball. It also hosts a legends celebrity weekend. BIM is headquartered in Nashville, Tenn.

The Samaritan Recovery Community offers a range of rehabilitative services to people suffering from chemical addiction. It is a nonprofit organization that provides alcohol and drug abuse treatment solutions. The community s Intensive Residential program focuses on providing physical, emotional and psychological support services. Its Transitional Living program features alcohol and drug counseling. The Samaritan Recovery Community also maintains recovery homes and offers supportive housing services. Additionally, it conducts an Outpatient Services program that includes domestic violence and several adolescence related issues. It staffs substance abuse counselors, nurses, clinical social workers, psychiatrist, psychologist, physician and a family counselor. With a location in Nashville, Tenn., it also operates in Ashland City, Tenn.
