Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the largest orthopaedic surgery group in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and one of the largest in the nation. We are proud of our growth and it all started from humble beginnings when our founder, Dr. George Carpenter, Sr. opened the first orthopaedic practice in Nashville in 1926. Tennessee Sports Medicine promotes sports health care and safety programs in the United States. The medical center offers a range of services that include general orthopedic services, pain management, surgeries, curing work-related injuries and urgent care for patients. It organizes various community programs that are related to women s health care, arthritis, sports performances, and nutrition and diet. The medical center provides specialized services that include functional bracing, treatment of orthotics, presurgical and postsurgical evaluations, and spine, aquatic and manual therapies. Additionally, the center provides several other services, including acute and urgent medical care to workers for injuries and illnesses and medical follow-ups and emergency care.
