The Nolichucky Gorge Campground in Upper East Tennessee has the Nolichucky River at its front door and the Appalachian Trail in its back yard. Surrounded by thousands of acres of Cherokee National Forest, it is an excellent campground choice. While here, you can enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing or kayaking, hiking, tubing, swimming and sunbathing, fishing, mountain biking, or just DOING NOTHING!

Campground is under new management. Restrooms are clean and management is friendly. Stay in one of their "Cozies". As the name implies, they are cozy. The river is just beautiful. I recommend the...
