The mission of the Nashville Shakespeare Festival is to educate and entertain the Mid-South community through professional Shakespearean experiences. For almost thirty years, over a quarter of a million Middle Tennesseans have attended Shakespeare in the Park, and admission has remained free, with donations welcomed for any who choose to support the Festival.

Nashville Shakes is a non-profit, professional theatre company located in Nashville Tennessee. We offer: high quality theatre productions (Shakespeare in the Park (August & September) / Winter Shakespeare (January)); fun and engaging travelling productions designed to engage kids with Shakespeare (Seeking Shakespeare, Discovering Shakespeare); in-class theatre workshops for theatre, english and history classes of all ages; Continuing Legal Education and Professional Development workshops; an Apprentice Company, offering future thespians the opportunity to study and perform in a professional theatre; theatre internships both professional and student; and so much more.
