For quite some time, it's been a passion and dream of mine to own a successful food truck. Since I was a child, I've related love with food. The thought of simply pulling into my grandmother's driveway brought me so much joy. When I walk into her home, and smell her latest cooked meal, I felt warmth, inside and out. Sitting down at her table, with a plate stacked sky high (to a tot), I found joy in the flavors she created. I felt her love in the imagination she served. Nothing pleases me more, today, than to host and spread that same love to others through a good meal. This is the idea behind my food truck - love on a plate. You can have a good, savory meal, and still eat clean (halal). You never know... we might find ourselves serving up more than just a cooked dish. Along with a successful business, having this food truck will allow me to fill bellies and serve hungry hearts. Thanks for your support of My Iron Skillet.
