We are a welcoming family place with many nearby activities for all ages to enjoy. Mountaineer Campground has so much to offer such as shaded sites, river sites with large decks, swimming pool, children's playground, laundry facilities and clean bathhouse. Your camping vacation can include river tubing, mountain biking, trout fishing, horseback riding or take advantage of Townsend's bicycle and walking path that's found right in front of our awesome campground!

I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. They completely do not respect their guests. I booked a half a year in advance and asked the question if they have a separate bed for each and they assured me...

Excellent Wi-Fi if you work from home just upgraded!! We stay every year and really enjoy our time. You can walk to the creek and just enjoy what the area has to offer!!
