MOD 1 Tetrahedron, located in Memphis, TN, is an outdoor immersive light and sound installation composed of 66 equilateral steel triangles. Weighing close to 2000lbs, the 14’x12’ pyramid features a laser-cut steel lattice design, creating a reconfigurable and experiential artwork and construction system.
This unique piece was originally commissioned for the 2017 Indie Memphis Film Festival by Indie Memphis, UrbanArt, and Cat and Fish, LLC. Following its success, MOD 1 Tetrahedron was acquired by the Downtown Memphis Commission to permanently enrich the aesthetic landscape of Downtown Memphis.
