Metro Nashville Police Department - West Precinct

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department provides law enforcement and crime prevention services to the city of Nashville, Tenn. It has operations, administrative and investigative divisions. The department has a Special Weapons and Tactics team and bicycle and horse patrols. Metropolitan Nashville Police Department also has a special operations division that offers aviation support and felony apprehension services during high-risk police situations. Its traffic division investigates traffic crashes and impaired driving cases and works to eliminate drunk and impaired drivers on roadways. In addition, Metropolitan Nashville Police Department operates an emergency contingency unit that provides homeland security, terrorism awareness, hazardous materials education, equipment management and contingency plan development services.
