Community Options, also known as COI, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of housing, support and advocacy assistance solutions. Incorporated in 1989, the organization maintains a technology department, as well as provides job placement services. It organizes various charity events and recreational activities. Community Options serves individuals and families with mental retardation, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and physical and developmental disabilities. The organization operates programs throughout Connecticut, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina.

Our mission is to ensure that persons supported are happy, healthy and safe in an environment where they can enjoy life to the fullest extent possible. We operate to provide acceptance of individuals with disabilities in our community and are dedicated to the lesson of perseverance, never giving up on the people we support.
