Maki translates from Japanese as 'true'. Well...Maki's food was nice, but it wasn't really true. It's a fusion cafe. It's sort of Ja-chi-thai-kor-namese and I am not criticizing the food so much...

Petite portions. My plate was identical to a panda order (orange chicken, half rice half noodles) and the portions were much smaller than panda. Orange chicken at panda crunchier.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Portions are super small for the prices, the broccoli and beef was burnt and the broccoli was overcooked and it all tasted bitter. The bourbon chicken was very lacking in flavor...

3 stars might be a tad bit generous as it signifies "good", "solid", etc.--but in this case merely means "adequate." If I was served this at a sit-down Japanese restaurant or diner I'd opt for 2...
