History

Master Sifu Stephen McDonald Sr. developed an interest in martial arts, at the young age of six in the arts of: Wing Chun Gung Fu, and Hei Lin Wushu, under the instructions of Sijo Wong, William M.D. and Sigung Hardin Lynn. He's also a practitioner of TKD, Jujitsu, and Kim style under Master Michael McDonald Sr., an older brother. In 1990, McDonald founded (M.K.I) The Mac's Kungfu Institute, His first two schools which were located in Nashville Tennessee, in both the North and East areas after teaching many years within the Masjid Islamic temples, and Nashville Public Schools. Master McDonald and his staff believes that In many Communities, the youth are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Specialties

We have Many Classes to choose from: for ages 4 to adults. Wing-Chun Gung-Fu, Hei Lin Wushu, Karate , Summer Programs, and Day Camps and much more. M.K.I. also Have lauguage classes in,(Mandarin,Cantonese and Spanish) by native speakers.
