Macon County High School

Macon County High School, located in Lafayette, Tenn., offers education to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students. Its curriculum offers English, social studies, foreign languages, mathematics, science, fine arts, health and physical education. The school provides vocational courses, including desktop publishing, automobile mechanic, soil and land management, cosmetology, accounting, housing and interiors, computer programming, wildlife management, and culinary arts. Sports activities offered by the school include golf, football, baseball, tennis, basketball, track, volleyball, cheerleading, softball and cross-country. Macon County High School has a student council and various clubs, including Leo, interact and beta clubs. The school offers various extracurricular activities to students, such as chorus, band, community service and hospitality committee.
