The Love Kitchen, founded in 1984 by sisters Helen and Ellen Ashe, is dedicated to serving the needy of Knoxville by providing meals and emergency food packages to homebound, homeless, and unemployed individuals of all races and faiths. Operating primarily through a dedicated team of volunteers, the organization aims to nourish the hungry and foster self-sufficiency within the community.
