Local Government Data Processing Corp

Established in 1977, Local Government Corporation is a private, nonprofit, corporation chartered to provide computer services to local government entities. With the assistance of state agencies, it develops software applications to meet the management needs and legal requirements of local governments. All software developed by the company is designed to run on a variety of operating systems. Local Government provides technical solutions, which include software, hardware, installation, training and support; web design; and network maintenance. It serves more than 1,200 customers in Tennessee and Alabama, including many contracted services to the state of Tennessee. Local Government Corporation is headquartered in Columbia, Tenn.
