John C. Hodges Library is the central library facility for the Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee. It houses more than 1.5 million volumes that include collections in various formats, including books, journals and periodicals, microfilm and fiche, and audio, video and multimedia resources. The library maintains circulation and reference sections. John C. Hodges Library operates a media center that features computer workstations, laptops and copiers. It also has a 150-seat auditorium, studio, study space and graduate student carrels. The library provides borrowing, digital production, instructional and interlibrary services. John C. Hodges Library is a part of University of Tennessee Libraries, which operates several libraries that offer a variety of articles, databases, indexes, journal titles, and music and videos.
