Joel Norman, MD

Dr. Petros Leinonen is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with East Tennessee Cardiovascular Surgery Group in Knoxville, TN. Before joining ETCVSG, Dr. Leinonen served as a Colonel in the US Army after almost 24 years of service. He deployed as a cardiothoracic surgeon to the Middle East and took care of injured US servicemen. He was stationed primarily in San Antonio where he worked at Brooke Army Medical Center and Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans' Hospital. When he’s not performing surgery, Dr. Leinonen enjoys traveling and exercising.

Dr. Todd is an interventional cardiologist with a passion for both his profession and his personal life. He enjoys spending time on the golf course and cherishes moments with his family. Dr. Todd takes great pride in coaching his kids' sports teams and finds joy in traveling. Additionally, he has a deep commitment to education, dedicating time to teach both students and patients, helping them understand and improve their heart health.

Dr. Hitesh Mehta is a physician board-certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology with Knoxville Heart Group. His office locations are in Knoxville, Morristown and Sevierville, TN. He credits having a role model mentor his introduction into electrophysiology and enjoys focusing on heart rhythm disorders. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Mehta enjoys time with his family and sports like baseball, football, basketball and golf. “I enjoy taking care of patients. It is what I have always wanted to do!”
