International Market, established in 1975 by Winand and Patti Myint, has been a beloved dining destination for generations of Belmont University students and Nashville residents, introducing them to authentic Thai cuisine. In 2021, the Myint family expanded their legacy with the opening of International Market 2 (IM2) across the street, which has since earned the official Thai cuisine seal of approval from the Ministry of Commerce and Royal Thai Government.
