Dr. Tressler is Board Certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee. Dr. Evans is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and orthopaedic traumatologist. Christopher M. Jones, MD Christopher M. Jones, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the care of athletes and disorders of the shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow. Dr. Jones joins Hughston Clinic Orthopedics after serving as Team Physician and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. Dr. Jones completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the esteemed American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, AL, under the direction of Drs. James Andrews, Jeffrey Dugas, Lyle Cain, and Benton Emblom. At ASMI, he received the 2015-2016 award for excellence in clinical research for the American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society. In Birmingham, Dr. Jones assisted with the care of athletes from Troy University, the University of Alabama, Auburn University, World Wrestling Entertainment, and several professional teams from around the country. Dr. Jones received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Maryland, where he graduated with honors and several research awards.
