The Historic Bleak House provides a romantic Italian Tuscany Villa Style, making it the perfect venue for your upcoming Wedding, Reception, Baby Shower, Business Meeting/Event, Bridal Shower/Luncheon, Photo Shoot, and much more! The tiered gardens behind the house feature flat, grass terraced levels that descend toward the Tennessee River. The Bleak House is also known as the "Confederate Memorial Hall." During the War Between the States, This house served as headquarters for Confederate Lt. General Longstreet until December 1863. The house still bears whispers from the past, visible through bullet holes that remain in and outside the house, original wall artwork done by soldiers in the Lookout Tower, as well as other fascinating remnants that you will find by attending a House History Tour.
