Welcome to Empowered Heart! We are an outpatient integrative mental health clinic that utilizes psychiatric medications, supplements, lab testing, and the healing arts to work with folxs ages 5 and up to help them meet their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. We treat a variety of mental health conditions including, but not limited to: trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. At Empowered Heart, we believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach.

HistoryDiane Waterman holds the American Speech Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence and has been a practicing speech-language pathologist in private practice in Nashville, TN since 1985. In 2016, she opened her private practice to further enrich the lives of those in need of speech and language therapy.SpecialtiesWe strive to serve children, teens, and adults seeking speech and language therapy services through tailored individual therapy sessions. Diane Waterman brings extensive experience to the practice, including the following areas: expressive and receptive language delay, articulation, reading problems, voice disorders, fluency/stuttering, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorders.
