The Life Care Center of Columbia is a medical facility that serves senior citizens. It provides skilled and intermediate care services. The center offers wound management and respite care solutions. The Life Care Center of Columbia also serves individuals with Alzheimer's disease. The center features a gift shop and private dining room. It operates a meditation room and ice-cream parlor. The Life Care Center of Columbia provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapies. The center additionally offers subacute care services. Its rooms feature televisions with cable connections. In collaboration with Hill High School, the Life Care Center of Columbia provides educational programs to students. It is a part of Life Care Centers of America, which manages more than 200 skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities and retirement living communities.
