ORDELA, also known as Oak Ridge Detector Laboratory, is a privately owned corporation in Oak Ridge, Tenn. ORDELA was formed in 1984 to provide specialized products, services and systems for the scientific and industrial research community. ORDELA produces a line of position-sensitive proportional counter systems for the detection of x-rays, neutrons and charged particles and provides custom-made radiation detection instruments. Key staff members are Manfred Kopp, president and Daniel Kopp, technical director.
