Freedom Intermediate School

Freedom Intermediate School is a learning center that provides academic education to students in grades five and six. It is a part of the Franklin Special School District, which has an annual enrollment of more than 3,750 students through its elementary, intermediate and middle schools. The school s academic curriculum includes arts, computer technology, foreign languages, music, physical education, technology, English, math, science and social studies. It offers a range of special programs, such as the gifted and talented program, integrated math specialist and English language learners. In addition, the school has a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program to enhance the reading and writing skills of students.
