Foothills Adult Care Enrichment Services

History

Foothills Adult Care Enrichment Services was dreamed up by two friends who had executive level jobs at a local non-profit. Aundrea, a nurse, and Jennifer, a recreation therapist, dreamed of a day setting where seniors could participate in activities of their choosing. A little demographic information and meetings with local providers led the owners to choose Aundrea's hometown, Maryville, as the location for the first and only licensed adult day care in Blount County.

Specialties

Our facility is located in Maryville, Tennessee and is the first licensed facility in Blount County. The facility has undergone a total renovation to better suit the needs of our program. The facility offers communal dining and group activity spaces, as well as lounges and interest areas to work on existing hobbies, or to explore new interests such as billiards, group games, crafts, technology, or carpentry. An adult day care center is day facility that supports the health, nutritional, social, and daily living needs of adults in professionally staffed, group settings.
