The food was delicious and it came out fast. Although it came out fast, it was still fresh and hot! Fortunately it wasn't too crowded that time of day and the restaurant wasn't busy at all.

El Palenque first opened it’s doors in Knoxville, Tennessee on November of 1981. El Palenque’s popularity grew fast and was fueled by the craze for it’s cheese dip and salsa, traditional Mexican dishes, and inviting family atmosphere. The rapid growth and success encouraged El Palenque to move it’s unique traditional flavors to Nashville, Tennessee. During the year of 1988, El Palenque opened it’s first Nashville location on Nolensville Road. Following in 1990, El Palenque opened up it’s second location in Green Hills where we are still serving our loyal customers to this day.
