Dupont Tyler Middle School

Dupont Tyler Middle School is an educational institution that is a part of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, which serves more than 75,000 students through over 135 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as alternative and special education centers. The school enrolls students in grades five through eight. It provides English Language Learners and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs. The school also conducts classes in speech improvement, creative writing, computer applications and health education. Dupont Tyler Middle School offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes drama, dance, band, strings, art, physical education and music classes. The school also operates forensics, newspaper and yearbook clubs. It supports various sports activities, such as cheerleading, football, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Located in Nashville, Tenn., Dupont Tyler Middle School additionally provides meals, transportation and guidance counseling.
