History

Seven years ago we joked about buying the Ducktown Copper Inn when Jerry raced the Big Frog 65 mountain bike race. Jumping forward to April 2018 and a week away from the Cohutta 100 and Big Frog 65 2018, we are proud to announce we purchased the Ducktown Copper Inn. Our goal is to become a mainstay in the outdoor adventure scene here in the tristate area. We would be pleased to have you come and stay and become a part of our journey going forward.

If you want a little outdoor or small mountain town adventure, and need a base camp you need not look any further. The Ducktown Copper Inn can provide you a comfortable clean hotel room to enjoy all that there is to offer in the tri-state area of TN, GA and NC. You will have access to some of the best whitewater rafting/kayaking on the Ocoee River, mountain biking, motorcycle scenic rides, hiking, horseback riding, trout fishing, river tubing, shopping and dining. TVs are old, mattresses make your back hurt, elevator doesn't work, wifi doesn't reach the bathroom, not enough outlets, towels are cheap. But at least the rooms are clean and the people are nice.
