The Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee (DSAMT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families across forty counties in the region. Founded in 1995 by concerned parents, DSAMT provides resources, education, and advocacy to enhance the quality of life and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome throughout their lifespan.

With a mission to empower those with Down syndrome, DSAMT offers various programs aimed at fostering community connections, educating families and professionals, and promoting employment diversity. The organization is affiliated with several prominent national and local groups and strives to be the leading resource in Middle Tennessee for education, support, and advocacy related to Down syndrome.
