Dandy Lions Gifts is the lifelong dream of its Proprietor, Joy Carver. Joy looks forward to sharing this dream with everyone in Blount County.About the Proprietor...Joy Carver is a lifelong Blount Countian. Absent a four year hiatus to Baylor University in Waco, Texas, she has lived in East Tennessee all her life. Her work career has included time with ProjectGRAD Knoxville and Maryville College's Alumni and Development Office. In 2005, she opened Joyful Notes, a home business specializing in "all things paper." As Joyful Notes grew, Joy's dream continued to grow. That dream grew into Dandy Lions which opened its doors on June 29, 2007.Joy's husband, Will Carver, is a litigation attorney with Kramer Rayson LLP in Knoxville. They live in Maryville with their two children. When they are not at the store, the Carvers - Will especially - enjoy UT sports, golf, the mountains and time with family. They are actively involved in the local community through various non-profit organizations.This is an opportunity which Joy never thought would come true, and she is excited to help people in Blount County and the surrounding area find just the right gift or stationery for every occasion including weddings, graduations, birthdays or just because.
