She has worked with various age groups for over 20 years. Lori lives in Jackson, Tennessee, but she sees patients via TELEHEALTH ONLY at Mind and Body Healthcare, serving Tennessee. Lori will utilize her knowledge, skills, and experience to bring healing to your mind and heart.Lori believes mental and spiritual well-being are foundational to physical health and applies a holistic approach to her patients' healthcare. She uses guided interviewing and active listening to understand what you are experiencing. She has great joy when she hears patients express their gratitude for listening to them and making them feel understood.Lori uses joint decision-making in the development of a personalized treatment plan. For example, she will tailor a medication regime to treat the psychiatric condition you are experiencing and provide relief from its distressing symptoms.Lori received her Master's in Science in Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 1994 from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She also earned an advanced certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2020.Lori brings extensive experience in meeting the health needs of persons of diverse backgrounds. She is devoted to providing care for the unique needs of all persons. Lori believes labels applied by our society do not define a person or their responses to life's circumstances. She does not view people through the lenses of these labels. She treats children as well as adults. Lori feels it a privilege to provide mental health care to persons of all ages and backgrounds.
