Our mental health services are varied to be able to meet the requirements of our clients, and we are continually creating new programs in response to identified needs in a particular area.

NHC HealthCare Cookeville is owned and operated by the National HealthCare Corporation, which was founded in 1971 by Dr. Carl E. Adams, a physician and lifelong resident of Tennessee who had a vision to provide health care services for senior citizens. Its services include physical, speech, occupational, respiratory and medical nutritional therapies and subacute, skilled nursing and respite care. The NHC HealthCare Corporation is one of the oldest long-term health care companies in the United States. It provides services to more than 70 long-term health care centers with over 9,100 beds. Its affiliates operate nearly 30 home care programs and independent and assisted living centers at approximately 22 locations in the United States. The NHC HealthCare Corporation also operates managed care specialty medical units, hospice care centers, Alzheimer's disease units and a rehabilitation services organization. It is located in Cookeville, Tenn.
