RLG Surveying is an integral part of the Marion, NC community. In addition to professional services provided to the City, County, Businesses, and Individuals, we actively support community Church and Civic organizations (ie. Rotary, Kiwanis, McDowell HS NJROTC, Boy Scouts of America, Hospice of McDowell County, McDowell County Rescue Squad, McDowell County Minitries). Larry was educated at North Carolina State University, obtaining a BS degree in Forest Management in 1963. He obtained his RLS in 1975, and has operated RL Greene Surveying and Mapping since that time. In addition to his business activities, he is active in the professional arena, having been president of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors and having served ten (10) years as one of nine (9) members of the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Larry served as Chairman of that board in 1993 and 1998. Larry was elected North Carolina Surveyor of the Year in 2009 by the membership of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors. Rick was educated at North Carolina State University, obtaining a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1990. He obtained his PE in 1997, and worked in Plant/Manufacturing Engineering until 2006. In 2006, Rick began work with RL Greene Surveying, earning his PLS in 2009. He has been a member of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors since 2007. Our office and technical staff are here to serve you, and have a combined experience record of over seventy (70) years.
