Coca-Cola Bottling Company is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Enterprises, which distributed two billion cases of beverages in 2004. Coke Bottling is a nonalcoholic distributor of numerous beverages, including traditional carbonated soft drinks, to beverages such as sparkling waters, juices, isotonics, coffee based drinks and teas. Its offerings include five of North America s top 10 soft drink brands, including Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani, Powerade, Dr. Pepper, Minute Maid fruit drinks and juices, Fanta, Dannon, Nestea, Barq s, Mello Yello and Fresca. The company operates in parts of more than 40 states, including Knoxville, Tenn.

The Pepsi Bottling Group is one of the world s largest manufacturers, sellers and distributors of Pepsi-Cola beverages. Its United States product line includes Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, Mug and Slice bottled sodas, Aquafina bottled water, Tropicana bottled beverages, Dole juices, Lipton Brisk and iced teas, Sobe beverages and Starbucks bottled Frappucinos and Double Shot coffee drinks. Pepsi operations in Greece, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Turkey also bottle and sell regional products and brands, including Mirinda flavors line, Manzanita Sol, KAS flavors and mixers, Fiesta flavors and Fruko flavored carbonated soft drinks.
