Clarksville Transit Authority

The Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service is a long-standing public-private partnership that provides emergency response services to areas of Montgomery County outside the City of Clarksville. Organized into five districts with five main stations, the service is strategically located to ensure maximum participation by volunteer firefighters and rapid response to emergencies.

Montgomery County Government provides the service's equipment, vehicles, utilities, and insurance, while the all-volunteer force must provide the fire stations, personnel, fire hall furnishings, and much of their operational funding. Through fundraising events, donations, and personal contributions, the firefighters and their families and friends work tirelessly to serve the citizens of Montgomery County.
