This park is one of the highest parks in East Tennessee, and is great for family retreat. Peddle boats and row boats are available for rent on Lake Placid, and there are also bike friendly roads. RV, primitive, and wrangler campgrounds are also available. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website.

If you're in Memphis this is a great place to come and visit. It's about an hour and a half away east of Memphis but well worth the drive. There's a very beautiful lake with gorgeous surroundings...
